The large amount of industry solid wastes as zirconium residue, quartz tail-sands and so on, not only seriously damage the ecological environment and do harm to human health, but also waste the precious resources. Simultaneously, due to the calcium silicate insulation materials have the characteristics of low density, low heat conduction coefficient, high compression and bending strength, and easy to cut and processing, using repeatedly etc, make it widely researched and developed. Therefore, as energy conservation, emission reduction and sustained development are more and more important, the preparation of calcium silicate insulation with industry solid waste as zirconium residue, quartz tail-sands and so on become more urgent. In this study, calcium silicate insulation materials with superior performance indicators were successfully prepared by one-step static hydrothermal synthesis using zirconium residue, quartz tail-sands, waste aerated concrete etc. industry solid wastes and diatomite, lime and other materials as the main raw materials various. The content is more than70%, so that all the solid wastes are rationally used. Enhancement and hydrophobic test of the calcium silicate insulation materials were successfully completed, which laid the foundation for the large-scale production of calcium silicate insulation materials in this paper. The paper mainly analyzed the performance of different solid wastes and the ratio of admixture materials on the performance of calcium silicate insulation materials by XRD, SEM, TEM, BET and other means. Which researched the morphology of xonotlite and tobermorite in different reaction conditions and tested performance of the products. The research shows that it can form fibrous xonotlite which grows well with higher porosity and low density using one-step static hydrothermal synthesis method with the calcium silicon ratio is1by quartz tail-sands as the main raw materials and adding part of zirconium residue or diatomite, the reaction can use. The density of calcium silicate insulation products is138kg/m3, bending strength is greater than0.36MPa, line shrinkage rate is only0.36%in1000℃, coefficient of thermal conductivity is0.046W/(m·K), and can be used for thermal insulation materials in high temperature environment. Waste aerated concrete as the main raw materials, adding zirconium residue or diatomite, also can use one-step static hydrothermal synthesis method to form flaky tobermorite when calcium silicon ratio is0.83. At the same time, the tobermorite in waste aerated concrete can be used as crystal nucleus promoting the thermal reaction. The crystal grew well and had many holes. The density of product can low to269kg/m3, the bending strength is0.46MPa and line shrinkage rate is less than0.5%in650℃by adding a certain amount of fiber. The line shrinkage, density, thermal conductivity of calcium silicate insulation materials made of various industry solid wastes in this paper reached national standards.
