Based on a plate milling system in Shanghai,the author analyzes the mill pacing controltechnology, by taking the mill pacing as the research object, combined with site actualconditions, extraction of rolling data, system simulation and other means, hoping to providefundamental theoretical guidance for the plate rolling control technology. The main work ofthe thesis includes the following parts.(1) The study of model of following slab. As the precondition of mill pacing, the modelrecords and forecasts the measured value of paragraphs time of rolling rhythm control. In thelight of motion characteristics of rolling equipment, the model can calculate the speed and thetime of the following slab, by using equation of motion for particle. During the fielddebugging, the slab position forecast is generated by the system produced by the trackingmodel, which runs stably.(2) The study of improving prediction accuracy of slab running time in the rolling line.The key to improve the mill pacing calculation model of prediction accuracy is to improvethe prediction accuracy of slab running time in the rolling line. By using real-timeinformation to fix the model parameters, the part apply self learning method to real-time setpoint for adaptive control, in order to improve the intelligent of the prediction. From thesimulation results can be seen, the improved adaptive system, can be roughly prediction errorcontrol inĀ±5s range, the forecast precision with the traditional model algorithm had beenrelatively substantially improved.(3) The study of calculating reasonable out-stove time. This section treats rolling time,temperature waiting time variable as the constrained conditions, sample data as the researchobject, for getting the optimized out-stove time. Moreover, the results showes that the bestextraction steel time is related to production plan, and should be reasonably optimized forvariety specification rolling plan.(4) Software implementation. The part combined with Visual Studio2005programming system studys the program design flow of whole mill pacing. on base of the actualprogramming and secondary control computer requirements, the author obtained serviceagent, interface design, class relation diagram, flow chart, and so on. Moreover, the authorprovides related programming experience.
