Non-point source pollution has strong latency, widely coverage and hazardous, which has become the main source of water environment pollution. It has beenstudied abroad from20th century, and owns rich research methods with thedevelopment of various mathematical models. As one of them, the SWAT is adistributed hydrological model, which has been widely used in the aspect ofnon-point source pollution since the early1990s. Combine the characteristics ofCREAMS, GLEAMS, EPIC and ROTO, the SWAT model was been developed. As the drinking water sources for Changchun City, Shitoukoumen Reservoir has anincreasing water quality issue. The problem of water environment cannot be neglected,so the research of non-point source pollution for the catchment area of ShitoukoumenReservoir is very essential. This article regarded the Shitoukoumen Reservoir as the control section and thecatchment area in upstream basin as the study area, and based on the gathered spatialdata and the hydrometeorological data, it set up the SWAT model for this area. Finallythis area is subdivided into31sub-basins and203hydrological response units. At thesame time, this article carried out the sensitivity analysis for the Changling Stationin the study area by using the measured runoff records from2009to2011, where therecords is analyzed by the SWAT-CUP software. This article ultimately chosen15parameters to calibrate and verify the runoff for the study area, which got niceadjusting results, calibration period R2=0.9and efficiency coefficient NS=0.86.Correlation coefficient and efficiency coefficient of validation period were bothreached0.9, which suggested the simulated results had reached the evaluation gradeof GradeA.Based on the statistical information of time and space distribution about thenon-point load in study area, this article find that there is some relevant relationshipbetween the precipitation, runoff and the sediment yield. Both the silt load and thedistribution law of the organonitrogen and organophosphorus stay consistent in spatial terms. Based on the above, we changed the land utilization type in study area, wherethe land slope is over15%. Paddy field and dry land are transformed into forest andgrassland respectively. By simulation experiments, we can find the content change ofN, P and silt content under various situation, therefore, it is impossible to evaluate andsuggest the farming methods for this area.
