Silica spheres was synthesized by the urea resin method. We prepared a series of silica spheres with different dilute times of ludox, type of acid, reaction temperature, content of EDTA and pH values. We also prepared a series of TS-1catalysts with different supports, content of support, binders and calcination temperature. To characterize different samples, XRD, VU-Vis, N2adsorption, SEM and mechanical strength have been performed. Based on the experimental results, we found that:(1)In the process of synthesizing silica spheres, the content of Na+,Al3+decreased a lot,but the content of Na+, Al3+were in the same level when the reaction condition were different;(2)The reaction performance of catalysts with the supporter made by different reaction condition was almost same;(3)The surface area varied a lot when the reaction condition were different.When we chose the reaction condition:diluting the ludox four times, choosing citric acid to adjust pH values,pH value2-3, reaction temperature40℃,the content of EDTA4%,we achieved the sample with bigger surface area;(4) We achieved relatively better reaction performance and mechanical strength when we chose the silicon spheres as support, the content of TS-115%, ludox as binder and the calcination temperature540℃. The propylene conversion and PO selectivity was5.3%and88.5%,the mechanical strength was6.4N/mm.
