Sucker-Rod Pumping is one of traditional ways in the world and also it commands a dominating position. During the final stage of oil production, many wells have low liquid production, low annular lever and inefficiency of pump rod which lead high energy consumption per unit production, as well as low economic benefits. Therefore, it would be an effective method for most striper wells with low production to adopt the economic operation mode.According to the principle of oilfield including way of sucker-rod pumping and stress analysis of suspension points, this paper proposes a strategy based on real-time detection of pumping unit parameters, fault diagnosis and control mode of economic operation.First, this paper introduced the collection and storage of dynamometer card data, and then it realized the actual displacement and load curve according to transferring them to downhole indicator diagram. Since the amount of oil production is the most important parameter, based on the relevant experience, an improved oil production calculation is proposed, which is combined with the area of dynamometer card and the effective distance.Fault diagnoses analytical processing can ensure the successful pumping and provide engineers to maintain the wells operation. Since trouble-free running is the premise of the economic operation, it is possible to identify varieties of faults quickly and accurately by using key point method in this systemThe economic operation in the oilfield is the ultimate goal of this control system, and high-efficient intermittent pumping method is proposed in this paper, which is combined with the amount of oil production, oil price and electricity price. Through the establishment of downhole pumping model and simulation, it proves the existence of the best stop moment which makes maximum efficiency and volume of oil. Considering the complexity of underground reservoir and status, we design adaptive hybrid hill-climbing algorithm to control system economic operation.Through simulation and practice of algorithm and the in-depth research, especially being tested on20wells in Shengli Oilfield, it is indicated that the system has the capability of controlling oilfield economic operation and management of oil extraction with stable status and high benefits.
