| The synthesis and performance of cerium oxide based composite polishing powder were studied in this thesis.Firstly,we synthesized Ti doped CeO2composite abrasives by coprecipitation method,discussed the effect of doping amount and roasting temperature conditions on the properties of composite abrasives,and used the synthetic compound abrasives in polishing of K9glass,studied the change of polishing performance after doping.also analyzed the cause mechanism of changes of polishing performance.Research shows that,after doping,CeO2particles spherized,the particle uniformity improved,reunion phenomena decreased obviously,when Ti doping content is0.2,roasting temperature is900°C,we got the highest degree of crystallinity,BET and Zata potential reached maximum,polishing rate also reached maximum;Also we found that the CeTi2O6emerged in the composite oxide,thus CeO2particles’ chemical activity have been improved,which have strengthened the chemical polishing effect.The cladding type CeO2@SiO2composite abrasives were successfully synthesied by chemical precipitation method.Studied the effect of Ce3+concentration,CeO2cladding ratio and reaction time of precipitating agent respectively.Using TG/DSC,XRD,SEM,EDS and IR and XPS methods to characterize the coated particles,the cladding mechanism was also simulated.The results showed that when the Ce3+concentration is0.02mol·l-1,CeO2cladding ratio14wt%,reaction time of precipitating agent220min,we get the best coating effect,we think cladding process is homogeneous nucleation and heterogeneous nucleation at the same time.Using the synthesied abrasives slurry to polish K9glass,when we use the slurry formula: solid content10wt%,pH=6,dispersant concentration is0.05g/l,polishing1.5hours,can get the best polishing effect. |
