Gear drive as the main form of transfer motion and power, has been widely used invarious engineering fields. Gear hobbing method as the most extensive processingmethod, occupy a big proportion in the gear mechining. Now gear hobbing machining,CNC programming are mainly adopts the manual programming and CAD/CAMintegrated nc programming. In both programming process, manual programming needmuch more calculation, and the error rate is high and the efficiency of programming islow. But for geometry simple parts,it’s easy to implement; CAD/CAM integrated ncprogramming to operating personnel requirements is very high, and it need veryprofessional technology and knowledge, so it caused the expensive cost ofprogramming.According to the deficiency of the gear hobbing programming technology and theexisting problems, we developed a simple operation to achieve the purpose of the CNCprogramming programming method to match the special gear hobbing machine of num-erical control system. In this project,we put forward the zero-programming technology,the fundamental is to develop a set of man-machine dialogue interface, which operatoronly needs to fill in the relevant parameter without programming, and the systemsoftware will automatically generate machine program by using the establishedmathematical model for operation.Then we download the programm to the system tofinish the process by calling founction.Before the zero-programming software development, we analysed the feasibility ofzero-programming technology, and described the gear processing zero-programmingsystem frame. Then we establishe the zero-programming mathematical model of gearson that basis, including gear hobbing machining mode, hob trajectory route, spacemeshing movement, motion relation, and so on.After completion of these studies, the subject developed zero-programming system software. This system is based on the Windows operating system,and using VisualBasic language as a development tool, and making full use of the PMAC’s openness.The human-computer interface designed and the software development is also adoptedthe object-oriented design.In a word, researching the independent intellectual property rights the numericalcontrol gear hobbing machine not only reduces the operation personnel’s technical levelrequirements, but also improves the production efficiency, so as to improve the marketcompetitiveness.The research production of this project,which we expect to makecontribution for solving the dificiencies and problems of gear hobbing machiningprogramming, and improving the production efficiency and competition strength of theEnterprise.
