DTRO membrane system has three advantages of width channel, short process and turbulent. It just requires lower water quality and has an effective treatment, so it is widely used in the treatment of landfill leachate. Although DTRO membrane modules are good at anti-pollution, it still can’t avoid membrane fouling, while the cost for membrane fouling accounts for a large proportion of the total cost. Research on analyzing fouling causes in DTRO membrane system plays an important role in improving DTRO operation effect and reducing cost consumption.The thesis is made up by four parts. First, analyze the landfill leachate generation, changes in characteristics of water quality and quantity and the quality of the water component. Second, introduce the DTRO film material, the membrane module, membranes and membrane processes in detail. On this basis, detailed theoretical analysis of the principles of membrane fouling and membrane fouling phenomena are described evaluation. Finally, combining with the actual operation of the project, the methods and measures to control membrane fouling. at last methods and measures for the control of membrane fouling are proposed.The thesis is made on the causes and control of membrane fouling. Membrane fouling causes include concentration polarization, solution and the blockage of membrane pores and adsorption caused by interfacial free energy, membrane structure characteristics, such as the membrane pore size, membrane surface roughness and stability,the design of the membrane modules, the critical membrane flux, the critical-to-membrane flux, temperature, pH value, operating pressure and influent water quality. On the base of analyzing membrane fouling, gives the advices about how to reduce the membrane fouling. Firstly material selection, optimization design of the membrane structure and membrane modules should be analyzed. Then, analyze the optimization of the operating conditions of the membrane system, primarily discuss the choice of the pretreatment for the feed-water, the use of scale-inhibitor, more focuses on the cleaning methods and cleaning frequency are discussed in detail. Finally, give the advices the replacement and maintenance of the membrane for operation.
