Photochemical receptors were rapidly applied in ion recognition due to its high sensitivity, real-time and easy detection. Metal ions played an important role in environmental and life science, designing and synthesizing receptors with high selectivity and sensitivity for its is still a quite active research field in chemistry.Both benzoylhydrazine and4-phenylsemicarbazide were good ligand for metal ions, a series of photochemical receptor molecules can be got by coupling them with intramolecular transfer (ICT) fluorophores N,N-dimethylaminobenzonitrile, respectively. According to different receptor groups in N,N-dimethylaminobenzoyl derivatives have different ability on recognizing objects in D-Ï€-A system, the ICT character in the ICT molecule might be further regulated in the process of ion recognition. In this thesis, we successfully synthesized those type receptors and studied its capability for cation recognition, and discussed the ICT changing in the progress of cation recognition. The main contents and results are outlined as follows:In Chapter1, the basic principle of chemical receptor is introduced, and kinds of Cu2+receptor molecule are reviewed. Research ideas of the thesis were also presented.In Chapter2, three hydrazine hydrazone derivants1a and1b and1c were synthesized. Investigating their fluoroionophoric properties toward metal ions we found that both la and lc showed a remarkable and dramatic fluorescent enhancement to Cu2+in acetonitrile(ACN) with high selectivity and sensitivity, and receptor was successfully employed to determinate Cu2+in environmental water and soil samples.In Chapter3, using4-phenylsemicardazide and1,2-Ethanediamine synthesized molecular receptor DMBP. Receptor DMBP exhibited a large fluorescence enhancement on Cu2+and can realize naked eye detection by a distinct color changing from colorless to purple.In Chapter4, molecules receptor BPSE was designed and synthesized containing a thiourea group, BPSE showed exhibit highly resonance rayleigh scattering enhancement on Hg2+, exhibited high selectivity for Hg2+.At the same time, we used fluorescence spectroscopy, absorption spectroscopy, resonance rayleigh scattering spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and NMR to study the molecule characters and recognized mechanism. The study here provides a new strategy for constructing and optimizing cation fluorescent receptors.
