The characteristical of Low Temperature Oxidation (LTO) was studied underthe Lukeqin oil reservoir condition.The studies have shown that crude oil reacted with air under reservoir condition.The oxidation rate was increased with the rising temperature and pressure. Lighthydrocarbons and CO2were produced. The O2content was decresed after LTOreaction.The oil and gas ratio of1:2was the best ratio of oil and gas.The final ofoxygen content was1.8%after ten days. The results shown that activation energywas56KJ/mol and power-law index was4.1439×1016L/(s.kPa). The reaction rateconstant was1.8molO2/hr-ml[oil]×10-3. The nature of the crude oil has been changedafter LTO. The heavy components in the crude oil were decresed, light componentswere increased, the viscosity of crude oil was decresed.The experiment focused on the explosive limit of methane in the air and itscritical oxygen content.The results show that the safe oxygen content was8%.Theoretical and experimental studies have shown that air foam flooding enhancing oilrecovery technology is safe in Lukeqin heave oil reservoir...
