With the development of polymer flooding technology continues to mature, it is usedwidely in oilfield exploitation, and it’s very effective to improve the recovery ratio of crudeoil. But because of the addition of polymer in produced liquid into a complex oil-watersystem, the complex nature of the calculation of the gathering and transportation technology, threshold pressure problem of shutdown and restart-up, the demulsifiers screening has avery important impact. The theoretical basis of these problems with its viscosity, yielingproperty, viscoelasticity, thixotropy and stability are inextricably linked. This article using the rheometer to study the rheological property of w/o emulsioncontaining polymer. Studied the influence of different water cuts, differenttemperatures, different sheat rates and different concentrations of the polymer in theemulsion, aging on the viscosity of the emulsion, While taking advantage of the the rheometersoftware regressed the emulsion rheological equations under different conditions and summedup the law. Tested in different temperature, different water cuts and different concentrations ofthe polymer yield properties of w/o emulsion containing polymer.Using a small-amplitude oscillation experiment to study the polymer-containingoil-in-water type emulsion viscoelastic. Studied the variation of the storage modulus G ’, lossmodulus G " and loss angle δ in the shock process; studied the impact of the viscoelasticity atdifferent concentrations of the polymer and different temperatures. Studien the thixotropystatic recovery process by the first pre-cut on the emulsion and then carrying on a smallamplitude shock experiments.Taking advantage of Origin regression out of the relationalformula between storage modulus and still time for different pre-shear rates.Evaluating the stability of the different concentrations of the polymer in the emulsion byTurbiscan stability analyzer. And the introduction of the concept of instability coefficient toevaluate its stability. At the same time summarized different concentrations of the polymer onthe clarity and the height of prolapse water influence through the test-datas of tne stabilityanalyzer, thereby get intuitive the relationship between different concentrations of thepolymer and the stability of w/o emulsion. Effects of different concentrations of the polymeron the Oil-water interfacial tension were tested with interfacial tension tester, explained thereasons for the relationship between different concentrations of the polymer and stability Inmicrocosm...
