The paper use OP-10as the raw material synthesized a kinds of anionic/non-ionicsurfactants. On this basis, the article made evaluation and compare of the sulfonated OP-10and OP-10’s physical and chemical properties and emulsifying properties.Found in the solubility of the the sulfonated OP-10that the sulfonated OP-10Krafftvalue to-12℃, description the sulfonated OP-10have a good dissolved performance. In thispaper, the surface tension of the method for the determination of the sulfonated OP-10andOP-10surface tension. Using the measured data to map the surface tension-concentration.Determining the sulphonated OP-10in the surface tension is30.29mN/m when the criticalconcentration of129.21mg/L.And the HLB value of26. Moreover, under the conditions inthe same solution concentration, the sulphonated OP-10surface tension lower than OP-10.This indicates that the sulphonated OP-10emulsifying properties superior to the emulsifyingproperties of the OP-10. When added to the solution of different concentrations of NaCl, thesurface tension of the solution frist decreased and then increased. That shows that thepresence of salts impacts a little bit of the surface tension of the surfactant. In addition, theexperiment was also measured at different temperatures sulphonated OP-10interfacial tension, found that sulfonated OP-10at50℃when the interface tension is low, its value of0.02513mN/m.Found in a study carried out on the emulsifying properties of the emulsion, the emulsioncan be divided into the oil-in-water type and water-oil type. The stability of the crude oilemulsion by a variety of factors, including the speed, temperature, stirring rate, and thestirring time, the moisture content, and so on.At a certain speed range, increased speed, theemulsions liquid dewatering rate decreased, and its stability better. At different temperatureenvironments, the higher the temperature, the worse the stability emulsion. Further, at thesame time under agitation, stirring intensity greater, better emulsion stability. While at thesame rate of stirring, the longer the mixing time, the more stable the emulsion.
