Two-dimensional cavity processing is a common problem of mechanical processing.However, due to the lack of a reliable tool for optimization of machining process, the cavitymachining tool path and cutting parameters generally tend to be conservative, so that theprocessing efficiency is low. This paper aims at the current two-dimensional cavity machiningproblem and discusses the method optimization of milling tool path as well as the feed ratewhich is based on a milling map. The specific research contents are as follows:First of all, from the infinitesimal model of milling force, undeformed chip thickness,determine the integral limits, milling force, the milling force model of the overall coefficientidentification, a detailed analysis of the cylindrical milling cutter milling force modelingmethod, and based on a cutter tooth sequence determination of cutting edge integral boundarymethod and a method based on multiple linear regression of the milling force parameteridentification method.Secondly, based on the cylindrical milling cutter in two-dimensional cavity processingcharacteristics analysis, determine the cutting angle variation is the influence oftwo-dimensional cavity machining milling force change the main character. Considering themilling force calculation of the complexity of the process, establishing a milling based onmilling force diagram, diagram, can be more efficiently in two-dimensional cavity processingoptimization considering the constraint conditions of milling force.Again, analysis of cycloid machining features based on milling tries to describe thetypical cycloid machining milling force change process. Thus application of cycloidal slotprocessing, the paper presents a two-dimensional cavity roughing tool path optimizationmethod. From the milling to extract contour milling force, the milling force based on contourcurves, to study the two-dimensional cavity finishing feed rate optimization method.Finally, to aviation aluminum alloy7075conducted a series of milling experiment,through the process of milling force, the processing efficiency analysis, verified the validityof the processing optimization method.The results of this study can promote the optimization of processing based on millingforce theory and practical application of the method, as a two-dimensional cavity processingoptimization provides the necessary theoretical foundation and technical support.
