| Wind energy is one kind of renewable and clean energy. Wind power grows quickly in the new and renewable energy industry. In the recent 30 years, not only theory study but also application research on the wind energy utilisation has made great progress across the global. Blades are important components for wind turbine, but also the most complex mechanical parts. It is the key that the wind turbine has efficient use of wind energyã€reduce of the whole weight and enhance economic efficiency to the blades with good aerodynamic performance. Based on the analysis of current issues in wind turbine blade design theory, this project design the wind turbine blade of optimistic aerodynamic shape,3D solid modeling and ansys airfoil of aerodynamic characteristic.This thesis mainly focuses on the issues as follows:1ã€The wind turbine blade designOn the basis of overall analysis of wind turbine blade aerodynamics, according to output power of the wind turbine,design wind speed of the wind turbine, rotor power coefficient and air density and so on,make use of simplified wind turbine blade design method,Glauert design method and Wilson design method,calculated the installation angle and chord length of each leaf elements of wind turbine,and compared results proved Wilson design method is more accurate,make use of MATLAB software write program of Wilson design method.2ã€The wind turbine blade 3D solid modelingMake use of design airfoil software Profili select NACA4412 airfoil of wind turbine blade,according to installation angle and chord length of each leaf elements by wind turbine design method,obtaiin each section of leaf elements data,draw 2D ach section of leaf elements,then find 3D coordinates based on coordinate transformation of points,finally,use Pro/Engineer solid modeling of wind turbine blade.3ã€Analysis aerodynamic characteristics of wind turbine bladeAccording to airfoil data of wind turbine blade,draw airfoil shape by GAMBIT software,create flow field around airfoil,divide grid and set the boundary conditions.Make use of CFD software FLUENT analysis aerodynamic characteristics of airfoil,obtain the airfoil surface pressure and airfoil surface velocity contour at different attack angle of airfoil. |
