Not only the breadth of section is greater than the depth of section in flat beamjoints, but also greater than the column width, so the section of this kind joint iscomplex; Moreover, the prestressed beam can be used as supported member for thefloor, therefore, the flat beam joints which has more complex stressing performancethan beam-column joints needs special study. This paper with the National Natural Science Foundation of China “Study theseismic performance and designing procedures on prestressed concrete flatbeam-column joints”(No.50968013) as the base. Considering the effection of changingprestressing tendon position on stressing performance, and then studying threeprestressed concrete flat beam-column joints and a RC flat beam-column joint whichunder low frequence reversed loads. After that, researching the indexes of seismicperformance by studying experimental date, such as the hysteresis loops, the skeletoncurve, ductility and energy dissipation capacity. Then using the ANSYS software tosimulate the experimental process, it coincids with the experimental results well.Themain conclusions suggest are as follows:(1) Exerting prestress and changing prestressing tendon position have littleeffection on energe dissipation capacity.(2) Oblique compression lever mechanism and the truss mechanism are workingtogether through the experimental process.(3)Does prestressing tendon wear the column or not has little effection on seismicperformance, so in the actual project we can consider in the method that the prestressingtendons don’t wear column, but they should be set in symmetrical.
