Flight data of UAV have an important value in application. They can be used not only ininvestigating and analyzing the cause of UAV’s crash, but also supervising flight status of UAV,assisting aircraft crew, testing the characteristics of UAV, evaluating the flight qualities, etc. So thetechnology about UAV’s flight data which include management, analysis and application get muchmore attention. Aiming at a large number of flight data during the test flight of UAV, the articleconducts research in data management, decoding, playback and application about the flight data ofUAV, then develops the software which meet the project’s need.Firstly, the article introduces the present situation of management and application technologyabout UAV’s flight data, confirms the target of the paper based on team’s previous research. In viewof the mass of UAV’s flight data, the paper manages them synthetically based on the databasetechnology, establishes database for flight data of UAV by Access2003and accesses to the databasethrough MFC ODBC under VC, then develops the software which can improve the efficiency of flightdata utilization. Different models of UAV encode in different formats, the thesis analyzes the formatof flight data and the principle of decoding, compiles the configure file based on XML technology,adopts TinyXml parser to access the configure file, then develops the software which separate thedecoding algorithm and decoding logic successfully and achieve universal decoding. The thesiscarries on the research about the emersion of flight course based on the flight data of UAV, developsflight data analysis software which can draw two-dimensional curve by TRTD, establishes the modelof UAV by the3DS MAX and realizes three-dimensional visual flight simulation through OpenGLunder VC. Finally, UAV’s system identification are preliminarily studied. After rectifying theunreasonable data and removes the noise from the corrupted data, the thesis identifies single-channeltransfer function of an unmanned helicopter and verifies the correctness of the model.According to the research of the paper, a whole system which includes the management,universal decoding, reproducibility and application of UAV’s flight data is completed. Its function andperformance achieve the desired design goals. The achievement has an important value in UAV’sengineering applications, such as the design of UAV’s flight control system, simulation, test-flight,etc.
