With the rapid development of national economy and electricity demand, the coverage oftransmission lines is also rapidly expanding. In order to esure the power grid operating reliably,routine inspection and maintenance is a base work for transmission lines. Therefore, the research onrelated technology of inspection and maintenance has great practical significance and practical value.At present, the study of power transmission line mainly focuses on inspection, but themanagement technology of manitenance work followed inspection is still rare. In addition, domesticand foreign research in path planning has not been extensively developed, and the related theoreticalresearch mainly concentrated on the logistics and distribution field. This thesis analyzes patrolling andmaintenance management system for power transmission line from three standpoints: patrol managing,intelligent management of ground line and route planning by considering business processes andrequirements. Based on domestic and international technology development background of inspectionand taking a chain of research methods, we design and implement the entire system.This thesis firstly discusses the very important problem of the scheme of the whole system, serialcommunication and embedded database after summarizing previous researchs on inspection, andintroduces Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) model by establishing the objective function andconstraints, and derives the formula used to get distance. Genetic algorithm was designed to solveestablished models, and the verification examples were also carried out to prove the algorithm.And then, this paper respectively completes the server, PDA mobile devices and web pageprogram in VC++6.0, VS2008and ASP development environment followed the ideas of modularprogramming. Decision support software was designed by VC++6.0to facilitate decision-making.Modeling and simulation module was developed by Matlab. It achieved the function of RFID taginformation scanning, GPS location monitoring, GSM short message sending and receiving based onmulti-threaded and serial communication programming.At the end of this thesis, we accomplish the whole system by jointly debugging each module. Byinstalling the system on experimental units, we carry on a test for the whole system. The applicationvalue and reliability of the system is testified.
