In the 1990s, Chinese national standards ask for key, important concrete structure engineering’s service life for 100 years. Improve the durability of concrete, can not only save the limited natural resources, reduce the waste of resources,but also can improve the safety of the structure, so for the durability of concrete’s innovation theory research and application of technology development is the key research areas to explore.At present in marine engineering, guaranteeing the durability of concrete structure’s theory and technology should normally be by high performance concrete, through improving the concrete density, to improve the durability of concrete structure goal,in order to make the structure’s service life up to 100 years. In additon, there are many mesures adopted to improve the durability of concrete, such as increasing the thickness of concrete cover, the use of plastic coated steel reinforcement, using colophony kind of anti-corrosion coating of sacrificial anode and cathode protection and so on. The mesures adopted improved the durability of concrete in a certain degree, but those mesures also have certain limitation. At the moment the theory and the tecnology still have lots of objections, the effect of which must be allowed to prectice test.This paper puts forward the creative plastic-steel-reinforced concrete structure (PSRC) composite theory, by the use of the high density polypropylene canal and composite steel tube, wrapped in ocean engineering reinforced concrete column in the outside, to achieve the effective barrier to the erosion of the reinforced concrete,with wich can more effective to improve the durability of the concrete structure.This paper’s main job concent contains four sections. The first part is the selected principle of the composite structure’s outer layer, the thickness of the plastic layer and the ability of resisting acid, alkali and salt erosion, in order to verify the kinds of durablity indicator in marine environment. The second part is the structure of the complex pipe’s middle layer, containing layer’s thickness and strength. Besides, this paper verify the composite structure’s peeling performance through the specimen crushed test. The third section is verifying the outer layer’s ability of resisting uv radiation and predicting the outer layer’s service life by grey model. The last section is dicussing the complxstructure’s construction tecnology and the development prospects.This paper, the major innovation point is putting forward the plastic-steel-reinforced concrete structure (PSRC) theory in Marine engineering for the high durability of concrete column protection at the base of adoptting the traditional high performance concrete by improving its density and high strength to achieve the requirement of durability. At the same time, PSRC composite structure’s preliminary design of structure and its construction process were putted forward.
