PSN-PZT system piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by conventional solidsolution method. The effects of Zr/Ti ratio and (Sb1/2Nb1/2) content, the effects ofCeO2 doping and the effects of ZrO2 doping on the comprehensive performance areanalysised by the comparision of the piezoelectric and dielectric properties. Theeffects of Zr/Ti ratio and (Sb1/2Nb1/2) content, the effects of CeO2 doping and theeffects of ZrO2 doping on the Phase structure and microstructure were discussed byX-ray diffraction (XRD) and the scanning electronic microscope (SEM) respectively.The best synthesis temperature of PSN-PZT system is 900℃, and holding on 2hours, which was determined by the contrast of the samples’ perfomance underdifferent synthesis temperature. The position for Sb2O3 replaced in perovskitestructure is B site, which was determined by the contrast of the samples’comprehensive perfomance with different replaced position.The effects of Zr/Ti and (Sb1/2Nb1/2) content on the system were studied. Theexperimental results show that the rhombohedral phase reduced, tetragonal phaseincreased, that is, the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) moved to tetragonal phaseby the increasing of (Sb1/2Nb1/2) content. When sinter temperature was 1280℃, andholding on 2 hours,(Sb1/2Nb1/2) = 0.06 mol, Zr/Ti = 52/48, the optimum properties ofd33=464pC/N,kp=54.9%,33 0εTε=2780,tanδ=1.9%。Through the research for Pb1-xBax(Zr0.52Ti0.48)0.98(Nb1/2Sb1/2)0.02O3 system toexplore the influence on ceramic structure and properties with different amount ofBa2+. The experimental results show that the rhombohedral phase reduced, tetragonalphase increased, the c/a ratio increased with the enhancement of Ba2+ content. Whensinter temperature was 1280℃, the optimum properties of d33=467pC/N,kp=74.5%,33 0εTε=2356,tanδ=1.45% were obtained with x=0.4.Through the research for Pb0.93Ba0.07(Zr0.52Ti0.48)0.94(Nb1/2Sb1/2)0.06O3+xwt.%CeO2system to explore the influence on ceramic structure and properties with differentamount of CeO2. The optimum properties of d33=600pC/N,kp=68%,33 0εTε=3678,tanδ=1.55%,Tc=255℃were obtained with x=3.To determine materials of balls is opposite to the experiment result through thedifferent addition of ZrO2. The experimental results show that the optimum properties of d33=445pC/N,kp=47.9%,33 0εTε=2663,tanδ=2.45% were obtained with ZrO2addition is1.0wt.%.
