A self-locking permanent magnet electromagnetic valve actuation is proposed. The so-called permanent magnet latching electromagnetic valve, brings permanent magnets into the traditional dual spring, dual solenoid valve drive mechanism, which can provide the electromagnetic force to achieve self-locking in the valve fully closed or fully open state, to keep valve at that fully open or fully closed position. Valve is unlocked only access to the magnetic effect current to weaken the air-gap magnetic field. Compared with the traditional engine valve driven by the camshaft control systems, the EMVA control system eliminates the inefficient mechanical transmission device, reduces the additional loss, at the same time, improves the control flexibility and the engine’s combustion efficiency effectively, and reduces emissions. Therefore, the EMVA has a good economic and environmental benefits.Firstly, in accordance with the existing strengths and weaknesses of current electromagnetic valve actuation, a new permanent magnet latching electromagnetic valve model is established, the basic idea is to make the valve not only has the fast response, but also keep the valve self-locking in open or close position without the need to maintain access current, reducing energy consumption.Secondly, calculates the new permanent magnet electromagnetic under the static and dynamic station respectively by the finite element analysis software professional. Finally, the electromagnetic force, inductance, EMF and other important parameters are obtained through analysis, calculations, which providing direct and effective basis to verify the correctness and feasibility of the electromagnetic valve.
