Worked as a analogue of suspension bridge with ground anchors , Self-anchored suspension bridge become more an more populer because of its beautiful modelling ,ecomomical performance and good adaptability of unfavorable geological conditions . And it has become a good choice in the moderate and small spans . In the future , Self-anchored suspension bridge will play a much more important role in the bridge engineering . Based on the Jilin Wusong Bridge , the following contents are syudied in this paper :1. Consult the relative papers and books on self-anchored suspension bridge . Briefly summarize the developing status and major forms of structure .2. Introduces the design theories of the self-anchored suspension bridge.3. Based on the current codes and theories, the overall design of the Jilin Wusong Bridge is done in this paper.4. Taking the design above as background, we built the finite element model of the Jilin Wusong Bridge. The paper analyzes the structural deflection and behaviors of the bridge under different loads conditions . And then, the structural responses are examed under relative Chinese code.5. Back running analysis are taken on the self-anchored suspension bridge , and the structural response of every construction stage are caculated.
