The topology structure of mechanism has an important significance on mechanicalinnovation and mechanical conceptual design. The topology graphs of mechanism is aneffective mechanism type synthesis method, in order to further study mechanism typesynthesis, valid contracted graphs was introduced into the mechanism type synthesis.This paper focuses on the type synthesis of contracted graphs with pentagonal linksby arrays, using the array arrangement, in order to be able to generate embryoniccontracted graphs with more basic link. Based on the original equivalent conditions ofarray and contracted graphs, we put forward 4 new equivalent conditions to improve thecorresponding relationship between arrays and contracted graphs; compared with thegenerated arrays, we also put forward the corresponding conditions of identifying arrayisomorphism.The innovation of this paper is to use computer programming language, developed aset of automatically generated associated link sequences and arrays, automatic judgementand removal of the associated link automorphisms sequence, isomorphism array andinvalid array, automatic drawing effective contracted graphs and isomorphism contractedgraphs software. In the programming process, first, using the tree structure programmingmethod to generate all the arrays of corresponding associated link; second, based on theequivalent conditions of arrays and contracted graphs, proposes the correspondingprogramming conditions, rejecting invalid arrays gradually from the full arrays ,obtaining the complete effective arrays; finally, according to the effective arrays mappingthe contracted graphs .Compared with the method of software generation array method and observationmethod, the former not only greatly reduces the workload and time, but also solves theproblem of missing arrays. Compared the arrays of some associated links by software andby observation, discovered a lot of missing arrays, improved the arrays of the associatedlinks. The results show that the software can quickly generate large arrays and draw alarge number of contracted graphs, for the following mechanism type synthesis research.
