Along with the gas turbine engine technology development, the main task of the aero gas turbineengine is pursuit the high esteem and the thermal efficiency. So people are constantly improving thegas temperature before the turbine and reduce turbine series. The result of this is the turbine must givethe maximum power with the minimum series. So with the improvement of turbine load, it must leadto appear of transonic and supersonic turbine stage. Therefore, the research about supersonic andtransonic turbine design method has a very important significance. This paper studies the designmethod of supersonic turbine, the method based on characteristics theory. And realize the differentmodels using the method. Through the CFD simulation results verify the accuracy of the designmethod and it provides a reference for the study and design of super transonic turbine and othersupersonic flow field.Based on the free vortex theory, it can design the2-d supersonic turbine blade use the method ofcharacteristics. It use the CFD to simulate the blade and analysis the flow parameters, the result whichis based on CFD simulation indicate the turbine cascade designed use this method can meet the designparameters very well. And it show that the method can used in the turbine blade and it provides thetheoretical for the transonic turbine study and research. It can ensure the outlet supersonic parameterswhen designs the transonic turbine blade use the characteristics method and the geometric method. Itcan reduce the design process of modified repeatedly. Then design the subsonic part of the blade usethe geometrical parameters, because it has little affect to the supersonic flow, so only to ensurestrength we can design the whole turbine blade. Then use the CFD to simulate the blade and analysisthe flow parameters, the result can meet the design parameters very well, and there is no shock in theflow.In this article, the line and surface design is based on the C++language, and developed a set ofindependent design software system, it can output files to the Gambit to generate grid. This designsystem can design nozzle, transonic turbine and supersonic turbine, and it can be used in supersonicisentropic inlet. After the validation to the design model and the analysis of flow field, it shows thatthe design method and design idea is right. And it provides the theoretical for foundation for a furtherstudy and research.
