Currently, mission planning system is playing a more important role in the local warfare. TheUAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) route planning is the key technology of UAV mission planningsystem and the technology guarantee that UAV can navigation intelligent and flight safely. Routeevaluation is a multi-factor decision making problem. It takes all related factors into condition, andproduces an objective and accurate evaluation to the route. Mainly aimed at the practical applicationof a certain UAV, the UAV route planning and evaluation method is studied in this thesis, for thepurpose of improving the capability of survival, mission and autonomous flight..The constraint condition of UAV route planning is analyzed, and the constraint model of routeplanning is established. The three dimensional simulation digital terrain is established by using thetechnology of digital map. Aiming at the three-dimensional route planning with multiple constraintcondition, the sparse A*algorithm is studied. Simulation results validate efficiency of the algorithm.A certain UAV route planning software is designed and implemented in the thesis.The softwarerequirements and the function are analyzed. The route planning software is designed based onobject-oriented method, especially designed to data management, route planning algorithm, interfacedisplaysoftware module. The simulation results demonstrate that the software has the ability of filemanagement, route planning and smoothing, and has friendly man-machine interface. The routeplanning software is able to meet the need of the practical application.Aiming at UAV route planning evaluation method lacks rationality and dynamic characteristics,the UAV route planning evaluation method is proposed. The flight simulation model which based onan UAV6-DOF flight dynamics model and flight control system model is established. The software ofroute evaluation method is designed through an organic combination of route planning and evaluationwith message response mechanism. By simulation, the dynamic performance of actual flyingparameters obtained when aircraft follows the path planned are analyzed, general estimation forplanning effectiveness with multiple constraint condition that comes from simulation is achieved.Simulation results indicated that the evaluation method can actualize the validation of planned pathsdynamic characteristic and meet the engineering requirements.
