After becoming a municipality directly under the center government, Chongqingeconomic developed at a high speed, and its conflict of the supply and demand of urbanland use gradually become acute. With the developing of the urban economy and theincreasing of the urban population, it is inevitable for the urban land scale to expandgradually. With the development of making use of the underground space by mankind, more and more stability problem of huge underground space excavation are show to us.Applying the traditional design theory and routine construction technology, there isinevitable difficulty about protecting the buried pipeline. In the paper, the technology offoundation Pit Support is explained and the application of the replacement method isanalyzes, which are introduced to deal with soft soil first time in Qingdao. Finally, theanalysis for practical engineering example shows that this paper’s method is reasonableand safe, and that it perfects the design method and theory of the foundation pit. The hillsoil aggregate replacement method is considered a suitable way for soft groundtreatment. The engineering example indicates that the new method is reasonable and feasible, and it provides a new idea for the slope stability. The replacement method can also beused in saturated clay, loose fine sand, pure embankment, miscellaneous fill, and wetloess. To the soft soil region restricted by stringent regulations and protecting ofenvironment around the excavation site, this method has great value. The advantages of this method are inexpensive, simple for construction and able toget good benefits to the prevent side slope slide and to guarantee the integral stability ofthe deep foundation pit.
