The development of power electronics technology makes the application of PWMconverter is also growing, high efficiency, high performance, miniaturization haveincreasingly become the target of all kinds of converters. Power converters in order to meetthe development trend of small, modular, soft-switching technology has become one of thehot spots of the power electronics, the soft switch technology has become the hotspot inpower electronics technology, asymmetrical half-bridge converter is one of the typicalapplications of soft switch technology.This paper analyzes the asymmetrical half-bridge converter soft switch convertertopology of the zero voltage switching state, it uses its own circuit characteristics, withoutadditional auxiliary devices based on the zero voltage switching, and improve the efficiencyof the converter, the cost increase is very small, very high market competitiveness. And it hasa switch stress is small, small switch loss, high work frequency, the medium and small powerDC/DC converter with wide application occasions.In depth analysis of asymmetrical half-bridge converter based on the working principle,this paper presents a method based on current double rectifier technology AHB (AsymmetricHalf-Bridge) converter topology, in its analysis of one cycle of two switch tube to achieveZVS working condition, and introduces the main components of the design method of theparameters, and no additional slip device conditions, only by controlling the variation of themethod can in great range of duty cycle to achieve the zero voltage switching, and to a certainextent, can eliminate the transformer DC component, reducing the volume of the transformerand output current ripple, reduce the filter inductance current component, converter in largeload range to realize zero voltage switching.On the basis of theoretical analysis, the paper on the converter for power circuit, control circuit, driving circuit, protection circuit has carried on the detailed design, usingsaber software for the proposed theory, simulation analysis, and the production of a prototypeare proved by experiment, the simulation and experimental results prove the correctness of thetheoretical analysis and proposed scheme is feasible by experiment, a conclusion can bedrawn that, during the dead time and the load current of two conditions when appropriate,asymmetrical half-bridge converter can achieve zero voltage, improve the efficiency of theconverter.
