| This paper mainly studies the responde and stability of towering structure in bothhorizontal and vertical earthquake. Specific content are as follows:1. On the foundation of the simplified motion model of equal cross-section toweringstructure, the paper establishes vibration equation of structure in horizontal-verticalrandom earthquake excitations. Respectively considering one vibration mode only,combining with two vibration modes and a number of vibration modes of structure,expand the vibration equation based on vibration modes. Firstly, analysis the stuation ofconsidering the main vibration mode of structure only. Based on the stochastic averagingmethod and the moment method, analysis the respond of structure and obtain the respondsolution; Based on the stochastic averaging method and the moment method, analysis thestructure stability and get the stability condition.2. Considering combining with two vibration models, basing on the stochasticaveraging method, analysis the respond of structure and obtain the respond solution; Thenbased on the Lyapunov exponential stability theory, analysis the structure stability and getthe stability condition.3. Considering combining with multiple vibration models, basing on the stochasticaveraging method, analysis the respond of structure and obtain the respond solution; Thenrespectively based on the Lyapunov exponential stability theory and moment stabilitytheory, analysis the structure stability and get the stability condition.4.
