With the accelerating pace of world economic globalization, global trade meets its (?)pid growth, and the water transportation that bears over90%of the global flow of (?)ds is facing new opportunities and challenges. The global demand for energies like coal and iron has promoted the development of large bulk carriers, however, maritime accidents of large bulk carriers happens every now and then, researches about the manipulation has also become a concern for many scholars, especially in recent years,40million tons of ore carrier brought new opportunities and challenges to the ship pilots. This text mainly talks about the current condition of researches in large bulks and the manipulation of ships done by domestic and foreign scholars, based on the large (?)ount of references. Then modeling large bulk carriers combined with the thinking of the MMG separation modeling from Japan. Then take the40million tons of ore carriers as the study object, Vale BRASIL, on the basis of the basic ship structure and (?)mipulation, using the Simulink toolbox in MATLAB mathematical tools language to do the analog simulation in the sailing environment with no romantic, romantic, etc.(?), direct sports, emergency stopping movement. and do the data comparison between test data and real ship data, analyze the accuracy and feasibility of the model. The findings of this topic describes the overall handling performance of large bulk carrier ship, and give some suggestions to make the drive leader to better grasp the ship manipulate characteristics, providing some theories to the development of the marine simulator basis.
