In this paper, according to The Chinese Code for the Concrete StructureDesign (GB50010-2002), four full-sized specimens of reinforced concretebeam-column combination solid under reverse cyclic loading were tested. Thevariation law of ductility, stiffness, load capacity, energy dissipation ofbeam-column assembly and the effect of axial force ratio on the seismic resistantbehavior of the joints with high shear force ratio was studied; the displacement injoints and the sliding rule of beam bars, the forced law of the horizontal stirrup injoints, the hysteretic energy and the change of the stiffness in combination solid aremore tested and analyzed; the characteristics of shear transfer and the developmentof the damage, and the seismic performance in these joints are further revealed, then through the test data, using the ANSYS software modeling, and doing finiteelement analysis, provide the basis for perfecting the code, building morereasonable analysis model and Hysteretic Model in the elastic-plastic dynamicanalysis. After analyzing the data, it was found that:(1) The feature of bond and slip of the beam bars through the joint has greatinfluences on the specimen’s seismic performance a lot. The bond behavior will bereduced when the shear force ratio increase, be improved when the axial force ratioincrease, be reduced when the inelastic deformation of the combination solidincrease.(2)For the joints with high shear force, on the basis of the seismic shearingformulas at present, we should consider to increase the amount of stirrup in jointwith the increase of axial force ratio.(3)For suiting to using high-strength reinforcement and high strength concretein building structure in the future, the upper limitd b hc of the diameter of thebeam bars through the joint in the code will consider the effect of the steel barstrength and the concrete grade.
