It was researched how the impinging flow technologies are strengthened by theadditional magnetic field technology from the two aspects of theory analysis andsimulation in this thesis. The flow field coupling characteristics of the gas-solidtwo-phase flow was preliminary studied within the impinging flow reactor in thecondition of the magnetic field. Then the reinforcement mechanism of the additionalmagnetic field was analyzed and discussed. On the one hand, the reliable theory basisis obtained from those result, which is good for further experimental study, on theother hand the foundation was laid for the further research and application of thistechnology.The physical model of the magnetic impinging flow reactor was establishedaccording to a series of theories and principles, such as the magnetic theory, theimpinging flow theory, and the field synergy principle. On these bases, themathematical model was set up combined with the relevant theories, including fluidmechanics and electromagnetic theory. Then the fluid motion equations wereestablished respectively. The motion of different fluid particles, which moved throughthe fixed space sport, were investigated with the Euler method, with gas as acontinuous phase and the magnetic solid particles as discrete phase. Then the flowcondition was understood within the whole flow space. The momentum equations,motion equations and mass conservation equations were set up based on this subjectresearch of the specific environment. For this topic, in the study of turbulent flow,turbulence model was established, and the k-equations were applied to solve thisproblem.Then, the numerical simulation was done using the Fluent software based on themathematical and physical model. The speed and concentration distribution of fluidwere analyzed in the condition of magnetic field. A 3d impinging flow model wasbuilt with the Gambit according to the size of the device. Boundary conditions andmaterial properties were set. Then the model was imported into Fluent software, andthe physical parameters, boundary conditions and the initial conditions were set.Followed by which the selection of the calculation method and the correspondingconservation equations were finished in order to iterative computation at the same time.The numerical simulation results of this thesis were analyzed and discussed,which was contrasted with the existing numerical simulation results of the flow fieldin the impinging flow reactor. How the flow field coupling was affected by themagnetic field was explained within impinging flow reactor. At last, the theoreticalbasis and basic data of flow structure were obtained .
