The Memorial And Cultural Expression Of Traditional Chinese Mythology Theme Of Landscape Design

In this paper, through Zhengzhou City Dayu Cultural Park project landscape planning and design practice, the author explores the traditional myth theme landscape, an important theme of the landscape around the country in recent years. And through analysis and theoretical summary of the traditional myth landscape instance, to make further study in these two areas—landscape design of the memorial and cultural expression. With the economic and social development, traditional myth theme landscape becomes an important way to tap the local culture, to construct the landscape features, to promote tourism development and to construct the urban culture. About how to make traditional myths and legends and classics recorded from the invisible text image convert and reproduce into concrete, impressive landscape, built form, is the main content of the thesis.The traditional myth theme landscape is a type of contemporary landscape design, its memorial and cultural expression are closely interrelated. So during specific planning and design, it usually start from the boot space, nodes and boundary, through the road system, and use various topics, refining symbols, symbolic metaphors, scene creating and visual communication and so on methods of expression to organize the theme of landscape, and to create the landscape of traditional mythological with place spirit and cultural heritage.In this article there are five chapters, which were divided into three parts:Part one is the1st chapter, which explicates the concept of traditional myth theme landscape, and analyzed the research background, the basic concepts, and the research methods and content;The2nd-3rd chapter of the2nd part summarizes the technique of memorial and cultural expression through analysis cases of the existing traditional myth theme landscape in China. While the2nd chapter analysises the formation, type, cultural landscape features of the existing traditional myth theme landscape, and points out the strengths and weaknesses of the existing landscape in development; and the3rd chapter summarizes the technique of memorial and cultural expression of traditional myth theme landscape through the analysis of the formation of the monumental psychological, in order to guide design practice;The third part consists of chapter IV and V. In chapter IV, through memorial and cultural expression of the traditional myth of the theme of landscape use and experience in Zhengzhou City Dayu Culture Garden Landscape Design, the author summarized of the second part of the paper, memorial and cultural expression of the design techniques. In chapter V, the expression of traditional myth theme landscape derived from the design practice is a kind of way using tangible architecture and landscape to express the invisible memorial culture.
