With the development of microgrid technology, the reliability of output power of new energy generation has improved significantly. To take full advantage of new energy scource, ensure the users’needs, keep the power balance and protect the economic benefits, the apply of energy control strategies in the microgrid system is necessary. The urgent problems to be solved are as follow:how to achieve effective control and schedule of the energy of microgrid system, how to make all parts of microgrid cooperate together, how to realize the stable operation of the microgrid system in both island and grid-connected condition, and how to achieve smooth state transitions.In this paper, the microgrid energy control strategies are mainly researched, including modeling of microgrid systemin Matlab/Simulink, simulation, experiment and project design of microgrid energy control strategy. The microgrid system is made up of photovoltaic, wind power and energy storage system.Firstly, the microgrid system is studied, including working principle and topology of photovoltaic, wind power and energy storage system, and microgrid control strategy. On this basis, the microgrid system is modeled and microgrid energy control strategies are designed and simulated, including power smooth, reasonable output power control and load switching, and seamless shift between two running states. Ultimately stable operation of microgrid in both island and grid-connected state, the power smooth and smooth switch of operation states are proved to be realized. Also it’s verifed that the established simulation model and the microgrid energy control algorithm are correct and feasible.Finally, some simulation results are compared with the results in the test conducted in microgrid lab, at the same time, practical application of energy control strategy is realized with the hardware and software design. Both results in lab and actual operating data from project proved the microgrid energy control strategy is reasonable and feasible again.
