With the many municipal pipelines construction and the Shield machine gradual application in the municipal tunnel, there will be more and more Small-diameter Shield tunnel. At present, the Small-diameter Shield tunnel end reinforcement reasonable range has not been in-depth study. Small-diameter shield tunnel construction parameters optimization is also needed to study when it passes through the riverFirst referencing existing end reinforcement theory and the engineering experience, the reinforcement range of the starting side and the end side is determined. The safety of designed reinforcement range is analyzed by simulation, and results show the Shield launching is safe in the overall. Second, the soil displacement and stress in the clay and sand is calculated at different depths and different reinforcement range of3.5m Shield by numerical simulation.The impact of longitudinal reinforcement range、horizontal reinforcement range、depth and soil to soil displacement and stress is analyzed.The reasonable reinforcement range in different depth is decided by the variation tendency of soil displacement and stress in defferent reinforcement range. Reference to theories and engineering experience, the construction parameters is deceded and process is simulated.the results show that the surface settlement and uplift is small,so the Shield can cross the Wenyu River safely.
