Joints are the key parts of connecting beams and columns, designing the joints are one of the most important parts in designing and calculating the steel reinforced concrete structure. The internal forces of beams and columns are transmitted through the joints, so it is necessary to ensure the safety of the structures by ensuring the safety. Joints force is so complex that it is usually combined stress station of bending shearing and compressing, so it is very important to make sure that the joints structure analysis design reasonable, transfer clear, reliable computing by researching and analyzing mechanical properties and failure mechanism of the joints,.According to a joint of Zhumadian sports center stadium project of the Beijing institute of architectural design, The Institute has used the PMSAP software to calculate and analysis the middle seisms. Based on this, then use large scale finite element analysis software to do a series of nonlinear finite element analysis in combination of seismic effect and the non-seismic effect, adopting unitary finite element model, ignoring the bond-slip between the components of the node in the core area of the steel reinforced concrete and reasonable to simplify the model. By contrast to the analysis of non-seismic combined effects and earthquakes combined effects of the concrete stress, steel stress, reinforced stress, fracture distribution and load displacement curve to show that this joint to meet the requirements of structural design overall, and to reveal the possible force weak links. At the same time, different influences on joints performance about beam web thickness, beam web height, concrete strength, axial compression ratio are also obtained, and have come to a different node failure modes, and presents the improvement of the node design proposal. This research work can provide a certain reference value for the composite structure design and implementation of steel reinforced concrete in future.
