As a variety of passenger transport mode and the distribution sites of large-scale passenger flow, high-speed railway passenger hub has become an important urban passenger network node and plays an important role and status in urban passenger transport system. Because of the strong cluster effect of the passenger flow in hub, especially in high level of passenger flow, mass blocks can easily lead to a sharp decline for the level of hub facility service and crowd safety problems. Therefore, this paper, relying on a national863project "passenger safety state identification technology on comprehensive passenger transportation hub distribution network of the high-speed Railway", based on the established hub facility network model and passenger flow distribution simulation model, designs and develops a passenger distributed simulation system, which can assess hub pedestrian distribution effect and security status in different flow conditions, give the level of service of the hub facility and provide the basis for the rational distribution of the facility design.This paper has carried out a systematic study and analysis for hub facilities and established hub facility model and hub network model. Based on research and analysis on the behavior of pedestrian traffic, this paper established passenger flow distribution simulation model including the four parts of passenger movement model, passenger arrival model, the route choice model and obstacle avoidance model. To improve and optimize the basis social force model, this paper made the model more reasonable description for the pedestrian distribution behavior. Through a detailed discussion for the vector and scalar operation relation and the optimization for the algorithm flow related to the above models, this paper made the distribution models more applicable to the system development.This paper has designed and developed a passenger distributed simulation system that using Visual C#language and SQL server database as development tools and basing on the established hub facility network model and passenger flow distribution simulation model. This system includes eight modules:system management, database management, attribute set of passenger flow, simulation environment built, simulation control, simulation output, simulation result analysis and security classification. This system carried out a detailed design for the function of each module and provided intuitive and convenient graphical interface interaction to analysts and users. We made the passenger distributing simulation in Beijing South Railway Station, verified the effectiveness of the distributed simulation model and gave the method of assessing distribution efficiency and security status of high-speed railway hub in different flow conditions.
