| The pace of urban road construction cannot keep up with the growth of motor vehicle, finiteness of road resource leads to controversy between pedestrian, non-motor vehicle and motor vehicle becomes obvious. But road facilities construction cannot meet the demands of traffic, which must take traffic signal control to settle this problem, so as to meet the trip demands better.Conflict of crossing pedestrians and motor vehicles at trunk road is the most obvious. Generally, mid-block pedestrian crossing signals assign the rights of way between motor vehicles and pedestrians only taking traffic flow situation at pedestrian crossing into account, ignoring the phase states and traffic flow at adjacent intersections, which leads to mid-block pedestrian crossing signals disturb and affect traffic flow of mid-block and the signal control effects of adjacent intersections greatly. In order to solve the problem, the paper from the point of view of coordinating signals control, improving traveler time effectiveness and environments as the purposes, focusing on the system of mid-block pedestrian crossing buttoned signal and intersection signal, conducting studies are as follows:1. Made mid-block pedestrian crossing buttoned signal control influence studiesStudied on such different situation:no pedestrians crossing, buttoned signal and intersection signal were coordinated, buttoned signal and intersection signal were not coordinated, making simulation research by synchro, analyzing the travel time of motor vehicle, average delay and stops at adjacent intersections, discussing the affects of mid-block pedestrian crossing buttoned signal control on traffic flow and the control effect of adjacent intersection.3. Established coordinated control optimization model between mid-block pedestrians crossing buttoned signal and intersection signalBased on the influence of mid-block pedestrian crossing buttoned signal, established pedestrian delay model, motor vehicle delay model and stops model at pedestrian crossing; motor vehicle delay model and stops model at intersection. Taking delay leads to loss of time and stops leads to environment pollution into account, establishing multi-objective optimization model, and using genetic algorithm to solve the model.4. Analyzed the availability and applicability of the model by simulation at different casesCombined with cases that located in different road level, using synchro to simulate the coordinated control system that solved by multi-objective optimization model, according to evaluation index, explaining the availability and applicability of the model. |
