Along with the development of the electric vehicle industry, charging stations has gradually been built throughout the country, and the charging equipments for the power battery are now widely used. Improving the power factor and reducing the harmonic to grid side is an important requiement for the charging devices. As a practical engineering method, three-level PWM converter technology, can solve these problems effectively, it provides stable output voltage in DC side, sinusoidal current to the grid side, and also improve the power level of the charging devices. So it is of great value to study about it.This paper research on the diode clamped three-phase three-level PWM rectifier and its mathematical model is derived, based on that a double closed loop control strategy based on SVPWM modulation technique and the current state feedforward decoupling is selected. In this paper, the principle of the SVPWM modulation method is described in detailed and the calculation processes is derived, the inherent neutral-point unbalance uneven of the three-level PWM rectifier is also studied in this paper, then a precise control method based on the variable ratio factor is selected. The three-phase three-level PWM rectifier simulation model is established in the Matlab environment combine with the C language compiler, and the simulation results verified the feasibility of the control system and the modulation algorithm. According to the characteristics of the control system for the three-level PWM rectifer, a control board based on TMS320F28335is designed, and a software solution combined with this control board is also presented. By compiling the program then doing some tests, this paper provides the foundation for the hardware development for the future.
