For the large modern city, a series of advantages of the subway traffic are very obvious such as safe, efficient, environmentally friendly. With the economic and social development, there comes an urgent need for the development and use of underground space resources. Shieldconstruction to the construction of subway tunnel, favored by the municipal, construction sector, and has a very broad application prospects.When use the Shield method to build a city subway tunnels, how to effectively predict and control the excavation caused by adjacent buildings and surface subsidence is an important issue facing the construction, combining with shield tunneling practice of Suzhou No.2subway on the basis of field measuring and testing theoretical analysis and numerical simulmion. this thesis makes a study on the behavior and control of ground settlement induced by close neighbors parallel to the tunnel construction. The main research results are as followings:(1) Based on SuZhou Line2shield construction engineering background study, survey research status and results, analysis of ground displacement calculation and prediction methods.(2) Depth study mechanical effects produced by the earth pressure balance shield construction and tunneling parameters.(3) Analysis of patterns and causes of surface sudsidence in the subway construction process, shield construction of deformation on the formation mechanism and the construction control measures.(4) Using3D Fast lagrangian Analysis of Continua, a3-D numerical simulation of the ground stratum deformation is carried out, during which the factors of tunnel excavation spacingexcavation surface supporting pressureand and formation loss rate.(5) Combination of Suzhou Line2Shield construction experience, analyzed and summarized the soil pressure, Shield Grout,second fill slurry, shield tunneling speed,shield stance control in the process of shield construction.
