| Torsional vibration of the powertrain is an important aspect of the vehicle NVHperformance.It can not only lead to transmission gear rattle and body boom,but also result inthe occurrence of resonance and vehicle surge phenomenon,worsening the vehicle ridecomfort,and reducing the reliability and service life of components,so it’s necessary tocontrol the torsional vibration of the powertrain.As a new type of torsional vibration damperappearing in the1980s, DMF can effectively attenuate torsional vibration and reduce thepossibility of powertrain resonance.DMF has various of typical structures,and the mostrepresentative is DMF-CS.It can realize a larger torsion angle and lower torsionalstiffness,and its damping effect is very obvious.This paper studies the torsional vibraion of the powtrain and DMF-CS.On the basis ofreading lots of literature,this paper firstly introduces the harms of the torsional vibration ofthe powertrain,introduces and compares traditional clutch torsional damper(CTD) andDMF,and illustrates the superiority of DMF over CTD in attenuating torsional vibration,thenintroduces the structure of DMF-CS.The development history and research situation of DMFare also introduced in this paper.This paper then establishes the equivalent model of the powertrain based on a set ofprinciples,and conducts natural characteristic analysis,excitation analysis,and resonanceanalysis to study the ability of the powertrain with DMF-CS to avoid resonance.This paperestablishes the virtual prototype model of the powertrain in ADAMS to study the torsionalvibration damping effect of DMF-CS through simulation.In order to obtain the optimaltorsional vibration damping effect,this paper conducts optimal design of DMF-CS to obtainthe optimal values of moments of inertia and damping coefficient of DMF-CS.Then this paper establishes the torsional stiffness curve of DMF-CS,and points out the inadequacies of the traditional design methods of nested arc spring.To solve this problem,thispaper suggests a design principle,and suggests a new method to design nested arc springsbased on this principle.This paper introduces the method of establishing the3D model of arcspring in CATIA as well,and establishes a parameterized3D model of nested arc springs bydefining the key parameters of modeling as variables in CATIA.This paper introduces the interface objects of ADAMS/View and ADAMS/Viewcommand languages,and designs two softwares basing on the secondary developmentfunctions of ADAMS,which can be used for analyzing the torsional vibration of thepowertrain and designing nested arc springs respectively.Finally,to study the relationship between input torque and torsion angle during loadingand unloading processes of DMF-CS when considering the friction,that is the torquecharacteristics of DMF-CS,this paper suggests a new method to deal with arc spring basedon ADAMS,this method considers the mass,centrifulgal force and friction of arc spring inADAMS for the first time,and this paper establishes the virtual prototype model of DMF-CSbased on this.Using this virtual prototype model,this paper studies the influences of rotatingspeed on the torque characteristics of DMF-CS,and gives very detailed explanations andanalysis.The torque characteristics of DMF-CS when the torque has small fluctuations andwhen arc spring are pressed totally in a high toque are also simulated and studied in thispaper. |
