With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the automobile industry has alreadydeveloped. As we all know, Vehicle ride comfort is a very important performance indicatorsin the performance of vehicle dynamics. How to improve the smooth performance has nowbecome an important issue in today’s automotive technology. Nowadays, There is keencompetition in those automotive company all over the world. So in order to win the game,those company should make the assessment and optimization of vehicle ride comfort moreaccurate. In that case, the company can short their design cycles, reduce costs and improveproduction efficiency. Therefore, a lot of researchers devote theirselves into how to improvevehicle ride comfort theoretical research. Now, many mature optimization theory it isadapted to the optimized design of theoretical work in the vehicle ride comfort.At first, this article systematically studied automotive vibration theory, human sensoryresponse to vibration and point out some deficiencies of the stage of the vehicle ride comfortstudies. Then make a summary of the research profile of the vehicle ride comfort subjectiveevaluation and objective evaluation. Evaluation method by1/3octave bands, respectively,the total weighted value of other evaluation methods theory summarized and analyzed, theevaluation for this study. The article also carried out a number of structural factors that affectthe vehicle ride comfort analysis, especially the impact of the suspension parameters on thesmooth performance. The article illustrate that the proposed suspension stiffness anddamping parameters changed mostly in the Comfort. Then, the article detailed analysis of thetheoretical framework of the target layer by layer decomposition method (ATC), the target decomposition idea and objective optimization process. And also do some research of ATCin the field of automotive design, a systematic exposition. ATC optimization methods foroptimization analysis in the automotive theory, summed up by the establishment of the basicframework of ATC, model and target cascading process. This part of the ATC in the specificcalculations used optimization algorithm introduced.The last part of the article is based on the vehicle ride comfort of the ATC method tooptimize the simulation. Layer by layer decomposition of the car ride comfort system,theoretical mechanics, the dynamics established between the model and simulation model asthe theoretical basis and simulation to optimize ride comfort performance of the car.Incentives, through the establishment of appropriate road1/2four degrees of freedomvehicle model body acceleration and suspension deflection, suspension stiffness as theoptimization variables, the multi-objective optimization simulation for the optimizationobjectives. Simulation and optimization results show that the target to get a good optimizedby selecting the suspension stiffness and damping values, smoothness is a goodimprovement. That the target layer optimization algorithm can successfully apply to thevehicle ride comfort design optimization theory.
