The thesis is based on Qiancao Yangtze River Bridge in Luzhou Sichuan as the construction background. According to the construction drawing design data, the author builds up the integrated finite element model of the main bridge by MIDAS/CIVIL, large-scale FEM software. The thesis focuses on force condition of structural static behavior and dynamic behavior in cable pylon. According to the calculation results, the author checks the bearing capacity of the pylon.The thesis firstly introduces development at home and abroad of the extradosed cable-stayed bridge. Secondly, introduces the structure characteristics and mechanical characteristics of the extradosed cable-stayed bridge and pylon, introduces the steel reinforced concrete structure and its characteristics. Then the thesis introduces the characteristics of Qiancao Yangtze River Bridge’s general structure and pylon structure. Calculation and analysis for pylon’s structural performance under construction stage load, the live load, wind load, temperature gradient and their combination are done. And then the thesis analyses the sensitivity of designing parameters of the cable pylon. The free vibration periods and modes of the bridge are calculated by using the subspace iteration method, and seismic response spectrum analysis and time history analysis. On the basis of computing theory of steel reinforced concrete, the author makes design checking calculation of upper pylon’s steel reinforced concrete structure.Through the analysis of the above-mentioned problems, The author knows the method in extradosed cable-stayed bridge which apples to the calculation of the structural static behavior and dynamic behavior. Furthermore, the design of SRC is deeply understood.
