| There are various advantages about the steel box tied arch bridge:to start with, it is easily to blend in with the nearby environment due to its elegant and gorgeous appearance, secondly, strong crossing ability and bearing capacity give steel box tied arch bridge an advantage over other long-span bridges, last but not least, featuring by small horizontal thrust couple with diverse various structure. All of the above mentioned merits can be accounted for the reasons why steel box tied arch bridge have developed rapidly in recent years. Among which, Lupu Bridge, completed and open to traffic in2003in Shanghai, is of the longest span all round the world to date. Research into the stress performance and stability are of huge realistic significance.Taking the instance of constructing a specific large-span steel box tied arch bridge, the major research contents in this paper consist of the following part:(1) Summarizing the development at home and abroad, structural system classification as well as the main design points about steel box tied arch bridge.(2) Waging a statically analysis to a engineering case in the process of bridge’s forming and running phase by means of finite-element MIDAS/Civil software. The author makes a research to the influences of partial suspenders’rupture to the rest part of suspenders’stress performance and evaluation to suspenders’safety.(3) Summing up steel-concrete structure joint at home; analyzing the structural features about arch feet’s’steel-concrete joint in engineering practice; making a stress rationality research into cable anchor tube structure by means of finite-element ANSYS software.(4) Concluding arch bridge stability theory; implementing a stability analysis directing at optimizing engineering instance; discussing about the influence impacted by a parade of parameters derived from Vector cross-ratio, the angle of toe-in of the arch rib, tie stiffness, suspender stiffness and arch rib stiffness. |
