With the rapid development of society, the scale of infrastructure construction is increasing, such as hydropower, ports, transportation, rockfill materials are used more widely. The rockfill materials have the property of rheology, the main causes of rockfill materials are the breaking and sliding of particles. Rheology has an important impact on the stress state of the facility structure, which affects the safety and stability of the facilities, so the in-deep research on rheology and breakage of rockfill has an important engineering significance.Through uniaxial rheological and triaxial rheological tests, and other rheological and breakage data were gathered. In-deep analysis of the rheology and breakage data was made through MATLAB, and then relevant models were established. The main contents of this text include:(1) Through large uniaxial rheological tests, the relationship between axial rheological strain and time were got and the relationship between rheological parameters and axial stress were analyzed, finally relevant logarithmic rheological model was established.(2) Through large triaxial rheological tests, the relationship between axial rheological strain, volumetric strain and shear strain and time were got, the relationship between rheological parameters and confining pressure, stress level were analyzed. Finally an improved triaxial rheological model was established.(3) The experimental particle breakage of rockfill was analyzed. For uniaxial consolidation test, the relationship between particle breakage and axial stress was analyzed; for triaxial test, the relationship between particle breakage and confining pressure, stress level were analyzed. The analysis show that the lateral restraint has an significant effect on particle breakage.(4) Through uniaxial consolidation and uniaxial rheological tests, the net particle breakage caused by rheology was got, the relationship between particle breakage and the final rheological strain and axial stress was analyzed. Based on the triaxial rheological tests, the relationship between particle breakage and the confining pressure and stress level was analyzed.(5) Based on fractal theory, the particle breakage of triaxial theological tests and the relationship between final rheology and different particle breakage index were analyzed, the Marsal breakage and fractal dimension were used as breakage index respectively. The result show that it’s reasonable to use fractal dimension as breakage index, it can reflect the particle size and uniformity.
