Twin-plate Breakwater is a new type hydraulic structure. As a Permeable Breakwater Structure with broad application prospect, it has many following advantages (1) Permeable structure can benefit for the free exchange of jetty inside and outside seawater and keep the internal port good water quality conditions, which is comply with the requirements of the Green Port development;(2) The effect of wave attenuation is good, especially it is suitable for deep water and short use period that need wave attenuation wave area;(3) The demand of seabed geological conditions is not high, it is good adaptability on weak foundation.Twin-plate Breakwater uses twin horizontal plates to attenuate waves and permeate seawater. The horizontal plate in this paper uses steel box-type plate structure, which is consist of hollow box-type plate and H-beam stiffener. Based on the physical model test, we can determine the design conditions and the wave load of box-type horizontal plate, we research the box-type horizontal plate of Twin-plate Breakwater by the finite element analysis method.In this paper, it studies the linear elastic finite element analysis of box-type plate and respectively investigates the different supporting forms, different thicknesses of steel plate, different numbers and model numbers of H-beam stiffeners how to influence the stress and deformation of the box-type plate by ANSYS finite element software. It systematically analyzes the structural style and mechanical characteristics of box-type plate. Comparing the numerical simulation results with that by the traditional calculation method, it can provide a reference for the structure design and engineering applications of Twin-plate Breakwater.It proceeds the dynamic analysis of box-type horizontal plate for Twin-plate Breakwater structure. The analysis of structural natural vibration characteristic is in order to get the natural frequency and corresponding modal shape of box-type plate structure and researches whether box-type horizontal plate structure with wave action occurs resonance. It proceeds the fatigue analysis of box-type plate and researches whether box-type horizontal plate structure occurs fatigue failure.
