With the development of ship technology, the percentage of china shipbuilding is upgradingquickly year by year, but the improvement of technical process and core technology is still lower. Inorder to transform from manufacturing power to core technology power, it is necessary to improveship technology such as mechanization and automation. Except the navigation satellite, thenavigation equipment is necessary for ship in the sea. the direction equipment for ship is an veryimportant testing methods. Recently most of direction equipment in china is mechanical testingmethod with manual readings, the other automatic mode of operation has much disadvantages suchas single technology、low-precision and low cost, especially in the accuracy measurement ofphysical ship angle.With the base of improving direction, the thesis is research on improving the accuracy of thedigital directional meter testing technology. Firstly the thesis investigates the status quo and trendsof direction testing technology in domestic and foreign fields, analyzes and juxtaposes every angletesting method, gives a compound angle testing method and control algorithm of stepper motor,designs the whole fracture of testing system.Secondly the thesis analyzes the principle、the technicalparameters、the trails subdivision technique of stepper motor, intrudes the hardware program andsoftware program. The hardware program firstly analyzes the technical features of ARM9 processorcore in the central control platform, and then presents the stepper subdivision control system、optical feedback system and wireless data transmission module. The software system included theestablishment of the embedded system guide process, the construction and transplantation of theembedded system and the software design of each module. In the algorithm study, the thesisdiscussed the start law of the step motor, analyzed the set of parameters in the PID controlalgorithm and proposed the fuzzy PID control of the step motor according to the design. Finally, thepaper introduced the technical details when building and testing the hardware system.By researching the stepping motor and the angle testing method of photoelectric encoder, thethesis designed an embedded processor on the basis of S3C2440 and proposed a solution to improvethe accuracy of the angle testing. The test system controlling by the wireless transceiver systemrealized its function by other auxiliary circuit. This solution can be used and reformed in thedirection testing with all angles.
