Turbocharged diesel engine with waste gas are common exist air cooling not fully,poweroutput is not ideal, the heat load and exhaust temperature is higher. The article aiming at thisissue, based on the former research put forward the concept of the volute cooling. Applicate inCFX software to simulation the air flow in compressor, and verification the correctness of thesimulation method through the comparison with the test results;In this premise designwater-cooled diffuser, copper pipe cooling, ring inter-cooled device and simulation it’s airflow field;By the software of GT-POWER, with the case of bafore and after cooling exit areaaverage pressure and temperature for environment parameters to simulation and analysis thechange of performance of diesel engine.Research shows that volute cooling can effectivelysolve the problem in plateau turbocharged diesel engine with waste gas.Taking a inline-four diesel engine which have waste gas turbocharge and inter-cooledcompressor as an example, use the fluid dynamics CFX software established the compressorflow field simulation model. Assume the physical model inside of compressor isthree-dimension, steady-state, none internal heat source viscous compressible fluid turbulentflow and heat transfer. The method of using unstructured grids discrete calculation domain, inorder to rule out the number of grid for the correctness of the simulation calculation resultsinterference, the paper study the grid has nothing to do the results.And through comparisonwith experimental results to verify the correctness of the simulation calculation method.According to the calculation analysis to the simulation model of compressor, the paperdesigns copper pipe cooling, water-cooled diffuser, ring inter-cooled device and simulationcopper pipe cooling and water-cooled diffuser(with the original compressor simulation model)air flow field. Using the method of test and verify, respectively simulation calculation andanalysis on diffuser cooling devices. Finally through comparison with the original compressorsimulation results to verify the quality of diffuser cooling devices. Because of the waste gas turbocharged spiral case on after cooling of the diesel enginewill cause air intake density change, and consequently the performance of diesel engineproduces an effect, therefore, after simulation and analysis to the diffuser cooling devices, it isnecessary to study the comprehensive performance of the. Taking the engine work processsimulation software GT-POWER as tools, use of in-cylinder process model, calculation ofintake and exhaust pipe flow model,turbocharger model,intercooler model, friction model tobuild the simulation of working process of diesel engine model, and through to calibration theturbocharged system to meet the diesel engine technology parameters.Based on the calibrateddiesel engine and turbocharge system, taking the exit parameters of the compressor withenviroment condition in front and back of diffuser cooling devices,and then comparison withthe performance of original diesel engine to verify the improved compressor on diesel engineperformance change.
