At present,the designing method of conventional pile foundation are generally based on the intensity control,but always the actual project will be a foundation bearing capacity to meet the requirements of the settlement has been large.The designing method of conventional pile foundation tend to ignore the bearing capacity of between soil and piles,the external load beard by the pile,this may cause the pile bearing capacity is not given full play,finally causing more piles and higher project cost.In view of this,in the field of settlement control study a large number of scholars and engineers put forward a new design method-the designing method of settlement controlled piled,this method to the settlement control as a precondition determined the number and length of pile according to the number of piles and settlement of pile,and designed to take full advantage of the bearing capacity of between soil and piles.This paper analysis the deformation characteristics of settlement control pile from the perspective of the trial,and introduction about the basic principles;design methods and procedures of the designing method of settlement controlled piled from the theory.Strictly speaking,the deformation mechanism of the pile foundation and pile-soil interaction have complexity and to get quantitative analytical solution is very difficult for now,so for the designing method of settlement controlled piled,nonlinear finite element analysis is of great significance for both theory and practice.In this paper,a numerical model of the coupled finite element-contact interface element is established to simulate the pile-soil interaction and analysis of the number of piles,pile length,pile diameter on the deposition and distribution of vertical displacement of soil.Then obtained shall be taken as a reasonable number of piles and pile length under the same loads to achieve effectively reduce the effect of settlement.Finally,this paper apply a settlement control piles design engineering examples to illustrate the importance of settlement control pile design methods in practical engineering, and verify the correctness of the finite element simulation.
