Study On Reconstruction Of City Park With Historical Remains

With the accelerated of urbanization and globalization, the entire city constantly updated and derived. In the process of rapid development of city, there a number of problems such as vegetation aging, park facilities damage, etc. Therefore, the artificial reconstruction of urban park has become the continuation of city and important means of park life.These city parks are mostly built at the early time, most of them have lots of historical relics. Therefore,"City Park with Historical Remains" is the object of this study. How to make the history of the park remains, while ensuring that the entire park is in co-ordination with people’s modern way of life, is the ultimate goal in reconstruction of city park with historical remains.Take Beijing Taoranting Park as an example, summed up the successful experience as well as shortcomings of its reconstruction. Combined with theoretical analysis, the strategies of reconstruction of city park with historical remains are put forward.Macroscopic view, two criteria:Preserved, Revival and development.Microcosmic view, analyses the city park with historical remains, such as natural elements, artificial elements, historical elements.Finally, take the reconstruction of Xihaizi Park as design practice, to test the proposed theory.
