Abstract/Summary:
The article took high-rise residential buildings as research object based on the climate characteristics of Zhengzhou area. In addition, in account of Zhengzhou’s wind environment and outdoor wind environment of high-rise residential buildings, the article discussed the natural ventilation design of high-rise residential buildings in Zhengzhou.The first chapter is introduction. It introduced the background, significant and purpose of the article and introduced the development of high-rise buildings in Zhengzhou.The structure of the theories of high-rise residential buildings’natural ventilation firstly descript traditional experiences and the practices of distinguish architects in natural ventilation and therefore summed up several experiences. Secondly, the chapter based on the principle of natural ventilation, associated with the climate condition and characteristic of residential buildings in Zhengzhou area, resulted in the windproof strategy and ventilation strategy.The important chapter is relative researches about natural ventilation in high-rise residential buildings. Ventilation is an effective way to improve indoor comfort and reduce the using of air-conditioner. The article based on the climate of Zhengzhou area and apartment layout conditions of high-rise residential buildings put forwards the mode that it relies on natural ventilation in transition seasons and relies on assisted mechanical ventilation in winter and summer.The natural ventilation in high-rise residential buildings started with the external wind characteristics of high-rise residential buildings, summed up several strategies of natural ventilation from4aspects:general plane of high-rise residential buildings, layout of apartment, windows and doors and construct node. Furthermore, the article analyzed the efficiency of these strategies.The last chapter analyzed the general plane of a residential quarter and apartment layout with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) soft ware. Associated with the design strategies mentioned in third chapter, the article analyzed a classic case with the mode, conclude optimized scheme. Through the conclusion, it provided a design mode for architect.
