| Lingbao Converter Station is located in the West of Henan Province, and in the point of where the central China, north China and northwest China grid are connected, and it is an important hub of the connection of China’s central power grid and the Northwest grid. There aren’t any DC transmission lines in the back to back converter station, the influence between the DC and AC sides is more direct, and there are more serious stability problems in the power system. Therefore, it is very necessary to do some relevant researches about the simulation analysis between the DC and AC side faults in the back to back converter station.In this paper, we analyze the principle connecting diagram of Lingbao Converter Station, according to the equipment accounting of Lingbao Converter Station, we also give the main components’parameters and models of Lingbao converter station, and build circuit model of Lingbao back to back converter station in PSCAD.When the DC side of the rectifier short-circuit grounding, DC side of the inverter short-circuit grounding, exit side of the rectifiers short-circuit grounding or export side of the inverter short-circuit grounding happens, this paper gives the corresponding voltage, current and power curve by Simulation on the DC side faults.And the simulation results are analysised.When the single-phase short-circuit grounding, Two-phase short-circuit grounding or Three-phase short-circuit grounding happens, this paper shows the corresponding voltage, current and power curve by simulating them on the AC side faults.And the simulation results are analysised.Finally, according to affect of the AC and DC sides faults to the converter station, this paper gives the measures of prevention of commutation failure. |
